Day 15- "Put on the whole armor of God, bind them in Jesus’ Name and trust that your Heavenly Father has sent an army to stand with you as you battle through to the goal."
So what do you actually do to put on the whole armor of God?

I just wanted to exult over a wonderful presbytery weekend! Wasn't God soooo present, with his hand on each of our hearts? Bob & I noticed two themes in the prophecies that were given:
- God is for each of us, not against us nor even neutral toward us
- The Lord touches us not only for ourselves, but so we can touch others, help them heal and draw closer to Him.
And of course, as always, there was quite a bit about people's futures and roles in the Kingdom of God, especially young people!

When Jesus went to the temple, knocked over the tables of the money changers and said "My temple shall be a temple of prayer", He was talking about us, the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Work the Word, it will not return void.
Not what I say, what the Word says, speak it.

P.S. If you do so, you might want to mention that it was God who created the rainbow - and that he used it after the ark landed AS A SIGN OF COVENANT!

Bruce, you sooooooo should put this statement where more people can see it. It's not too late for a letter to the editor, for instance. Both editors: the Rochester D&C, and Newsweek!

Hey, PB. I am glad that those women came to know the Lord after that service. I thought that analogy about "salty" from OT and NT was great; I had never thought about that before. It is amazing how things come alive in the Scriptures when someone else expounds upon them, huh? I wish revelations like that could come to me.

That's what the old people always say... I'm just Joking!!!

There is so much wisdom that comes with perspective of life. What's important, what's worth investing in. There is a wealth of wisdom that can be gleamed from the Godly generations before our own. People whom have climbed mountains, and whom have fallen, and had the Lords grace with them the whole while as and he lifted them out of the enemy's clutches.

Bruce,

In church on Mother's Day, you prayed against torment for those for whom the subject of motherhood was a source of torment. You mentioned a few scenarios: those who wished to be mothers but weren't; mothers who had had children die, etc.

I felt that the Lord was also reaching out with healing for those of us who, like myself, are tormented by a painful relationship with our own mothers. Those whose mothers didn't, or don't, do all the things we always hear extolled on Mother's Day and frequently at other times. Things like this are very painful for those of us with rejective mothers. After the service, another person told me she had sensed the same thing. God was really moving in that service, in more ways than we knew!
